Tokyo Gas CFO says no plan to cut LNG purchases despite pandemic

Tokyo Gas Co Ltd has no immediate plan to cut the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) despite weaker demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, Chief Financial Officer Koki Hayawaka told an earnings news conference.
Japan’s biggest supplier of city gas has no change in its overseas investment plan, especially in infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia, Hayakawa said. (Reporting by Yuka Obayashi; Editing by Christian Schmollinger)
