Gazprom global LNG trading head among 3 who quit Singapore office
The global head of liquefied natural gas (LNG) trading at Russia’s Gazprom was among three LNG traders who resigned from the company’s Singapore unit last week, several industry sources said.
Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore is a subsidiary of gas producer Gazprom group.
Gazprom Export, which is in charge of all trading activities for the company including the Singapore unit, declined to comment when contacted by Reuters for comment.
The traders who handle the company’s physical volumes are leaving to join another firm, the sources said, though this could not immediately be confirmed.
Gazprom’s offices in London and Singapore will manage LNG trading for the time being, one of the sources said, declining to be named as he was not authorised to speak with media.
