Putin will agree to TurkStream to deliver natgas to Serbia

ANKARA (Reuters) — Russia will not object to Turkey’s plan of transferring natural gas from its TurkStream project to Serbia, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.
“We are supporting the issue of bringing natural gas to Serbia through the TurkStream pipeline, I don’t think (Russian President Vladimir) Putin will object to this,” Erdogan told reporters during a joint press conference with Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic.
The Kremlin, dependent on oil and gas revenues, sees the pipelines to Germany and Turkey—Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream—as crucial to increasing its market share in Europe.
