Poland's LNG terminal back to normal after accident

WARSAW, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Poland’s LNG terminal in the port of Swinoujscie has restarted work after strong winds damaged a pipeline causing a small leak, gas pipeline operator Gaz-System said on Monday.

“On Sunday evening LNG regasification was restored,” the operator said in a statement.
A falling gantry damaged a pipeline used for monitoring the gas level in one of the tanks on Sunday.
Poland opened its LNG terminal at Swinoujscie on the Baltic Sea last year to help diversify its gas imports away from traditional supplier Russia.
