U.S. Industry Metrics

Adrienne Blume, Managing Editor

Henry Hub (HH) natural gas spot prices and NGL spot prices continued their downward trend through June. The average HH spot price sank to $1.38/MMBtu on June 16, which marked the lowest daily HH price (in nominal dollars and without adjustment for inflation) since December 1998. High natural gas storage levels after a mild winter, fewer LNG exports by U.S. producers and reduced gas demand from the industrial sector have weighed on HH prices so far this summer. Feed gas deliveries to U.S. LNG terminals averaged approximately 4 Bft3d in June, which is 1.4 Bft3d less than feed gas volumes in June 2019. GP
