Hydrocarbon Processing’s Construction Boxscore Database and Gulf Energy Information’s Energy Web Atlas are tracking more than 400 active gas processing/LNG projects around the world. The gas processing/LNG sector represents approximately 32% of active midstream/downstream processing projects globally. When analyzed, nearly 60% of active gas processing/LNG projects are in Asia-Pacific and the U.S. Active project market shares for Asia-Pacific and the U.S. are 35% and 23%, respectively. When broken down by activity level, approximately 75% of active gas processing/LNG projects are in the preconstruction phase. GP
