Moving into 3Q 2018, NGL prices slid as demand stalled and production increased for most liquids. Natural gas prices also weakened at the end of October due to warmer-than-forecast temperatures in key producing regions. According to the EIA, gas production in the US Gulf of Mexico, which has been declining for nearly two decades, could receive a boost as nine new natural gas production projects are expected to start in 2018. Another seven projects will commence operations in 2019. The 16 projects have a combined estimated resource volume of 800 Bft3. GP
