Standard Charter delivers $15-B financing for Venture Global's CP2 LNG project

Standard Charter has delivered $15.1 B financing for Venture Global's Phase 1 of the CP2 LNG project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana (U.S.). The 20-MMtpy facility will be comprised of thirty six 0.626 MMtpy liquefaction trains, configured in 18 blocks. CP2 LNG's project will also consist of four 200,000-m3 full containment LNG storage tanks, two marine loading berths, a 1,440-MW onsite combined cycle gas turbine power plant. The terminal will be supplied with natural gas feedstock from the CP Express pipeline.
