U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said his top priority was for the government to "get out of the way" of the production of oil, gas and coal, adding that a number of approvals for gas projects were in the queue.
"Number one (focus) is get out of the way of the production, export and enhancement of our volumes of coal or gas," Wright said, speaking at a conference in London via videolink.
"We ended the pause and approved the Commonwealth LNG export terminal last Friday, and many more in the queue," he told the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship event.
