Finland's Gasum charters LNG bunker fuel vessel from 2027
2/17/2025
Finland's Gasum will charter a new bunker fuel vessel that will deliver liquefied natural gas (LNG) and bio-LNG from 2027, the state-owned gas supplier said in a statement on Monday.
The new vessel, co-owned by Gasum and Swedish Sirius Shipping, will respond to increased LNG and bio-LNG demand in northwestern Europe brought on by ship owners' aims to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, Gasum said.
The vessel will be built at RMK Marine's yard in Istanbul.
