Hoerbiger hydrogen mobility team wins new HCP 500 order in Norway
Agder Hydrogen Hub AS has selected HOERBIGER to deliver two HCP 500 hydrogen compression packages for their new hydrogen production facility in Fiskå, Kristiansand, Norway. Agder Hydrogen Hub, 100% owned by Greenstat and its majority shareholder La Française de l’Energie (FDE), have started the construction phase of a 60 MW H2 facility dedicated to supply green hydrogen to the close by maritime industry by end of 2026.
The compressor package HCP 500 is featured by HOERBIGER’s Electric Stepless Capacity Control System – eHydroCOM, which offers unique controllability of the compressor flow rates in terms of efficiency and precision. The eHydroCOM allows a large operating window of the compressor which ensures perfect alignment with the requirements of the electrolysers and the attached trailer filling application. Utilizing Ariel Corporation’s KBH compressor, the high mass flow of the HCP 500 of over 250 kg/h makes the compressor package from HOERBIGER the ideal solution for trailer filling facilities and heavy-duty refueling stations, ensuring unmatched operational experiences for both stationary and intermittent operating conditions.
