Malaysia's Petronas to supply more gas to Sabah Energy

Malaysian state energy firm Petronas said on it will supply more gas to Sabah Energy to help meet the industrial needs of northern Borneo's Sabah state.
Petronas, or Petroliam Nasional, said it will supply an additional 104 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas to Sabah Energy, bringing its total supply to 370 million standard cubic feet per day.
Of that volume, Sabah Energy will allocate 150 million standard cubic feet per day to steel manufacturer Esteel Enterprise Sabah to support its production operations and its shift to more sustainable practices, Petronas said in a statement.
