NDT Global partners with Aramco to launch 56" ultrasonic inspection tool
NDT Global, a leader in innovative inline inspection technologies, officially launched a 56" ultrasonic inline inspection tool, developed in collaboration to meet the inspection requirements of integrated oil and gas company Aramco.
Traditionally, MFL and caliper-based inspection methods would have been the choice for large-diameter pipelines. Through successful solution enhancements and close customer collaboration, operators can deploy this leading ultrasonic crack and metal loss inline inspection service. This tool stands as NDT Global's largest ultrasonic inline inspection tool capable of navigating unique pipeline networks while ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
“We are excited to partner with operators like Aramco to introduce our advanced ultrasonic inline inspection technology to their pipeline infrastructure,” said Nathan Leslie, Vice-President, Product Management, NDT Global. “Together, we are devising solutions to tackle operator challenges and offering an innovative approach to detecting, sizing, and characterizing cracks and metal loss anomalies.”
With new additions like this combined inspection tool, NDT Global remains committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in pipeline inspections. By successfully leveraging the best inline diagnostic data operators can gain actionable insights that drive predictive analysis, long-term risk evaluation, and optimal asset health for pipeline operators worldwide.
