India Petronet aims to start Gopalpur LNG plant in 2027

India's top gas importer Petronet LNG aims to start operating a 5-metric MMtpy liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at Gopalpur in eastern Odisha state in 2027, Chief Executive Akshay Kumar Singh said on Thursday.
The company had previously planned for a 4-MMtpy floating storage and regassification unit (FSRU) at Gopalpur.
