Gasunie says new LNG capacity at Eemshaven fully booked

(Reuters) - Gasunie, the Dutch gas grid operator, said on Monday that the new floating LNG gas terminals it has leased for use in Eemshaven, a port near the northern city of Groningen, are now fully booked.

The two terminals, which were leased after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, have 8 Bcm of capacity and are due to begin operations in September.

The company said it had sold the final 1 bcm to Engie SA of France after deals with Shell and CEZ of the Czech Republic.
