9/14/2021
Gail (India) issued a tender seeking to buy two LNG cargoes for delivery into India and offering a cargo for loading from the United States, two industry sources said.
It is seeking a cargo for delivery into Dabhol over Nov. 7-13 and a cargo for delivery into Dahej over Dec. 26-28, one of the sources said.
It has offered a cargo for loading from the Cove Point plant in the United States over Jan. 20-22, the source said, adding that the tender closes on Sept. 15.
The Indian importer has 20-year deals to buy 5.8 million tonnes a year of U.S. LNG, split between Dominion Energy's D.N Cove Point plant and Cheniere Energy's LNG.A Sabine Pass site in Louisiana.
