PolaireTech picks ZR-LNG technology for small-scale LNG plants
Gasconsult announced that after a careful evaluation of all available technologies PolaireTech has selected ZR-LNG as its core liquefaction process for its small-scale standard modularized LNG plants. PolaireTech will license ZR-LNG for plant capacities up to 80,000 tpa of LNG. Further details on the PolaireTech offering can be found at https://www.polairetech.com/ .
Given the challenging economics surrounding small-scale LNG, considerable thought has been given to lifecycle cost reduction in PolaireTech’s design.
In addition to the substantial cost savings from use of ZR-LNG (total elimination of any requirement for external refrigerants and supporting refrigerant handling and storage facilities), the standardisation and modularisation process has been led by Dycat Solutions under the direction of Fred Haney, formerly Technical Lead on Fluor’s patented 3rd Generation Modular Execution development.
Standardization and compact modularisation are seen as providing higher quality and more reliable project outcomes, reduced capex and shorter project schedules. Further details on Dycat Solutions can be found at https://dycatsolutions.com/ .
