Exion Systems awarded first two contracts to build & install Exion LT System
Exion Systems LLC announced that it has been awarded its first two contracts to build and install the Exion LT System. The Exion LT system removes H2S and Mercaptans will be installed on a butane line in South Texas and the second on condensate line in Northern Alberta, Canada.
The Exion Liquid Treating or ‘Exion LT’ for short, is a patent technology featuring a proprietary contacting and separation process. The Exion LT removes H2S and mercaptan species from propane, butane, LPG, NGL and light condensates. The H2S and Mercaptans are reacted and then removed all in a single pass skid. The chemistry contains no sodium hydroxide and the waste can be easily treated.
David Engel, Ph.D., Technology Leader or Exion Systems LLC commented: “The Exion LT system is truly unique because it offers an economical alternative to remove H2S and mercaptans from Propane, Butane, LPG, NGL and condensates compared to what is currently available in the marketplace. The system is modular, has the flexibility to process different flow rates and hydrocarbon compositions."
Exion Systems LLC plans to build additional units in the coming months to in order to have mobile systems on hand that can be quickly deployed when the need arises.
