GTT awarded membrane cargo containment contract for Prelude FLNG

Paris—GTT has been awarded a contract for membrane cargo containment system services for Shell's Prelude FLNG facility.
This contract will provide support for the engineering, inspection, maintenance as well as testing of the containment system.
The Prelude FLNG facility recently arrived at its location 475 km northeast of Broome, Australia, where the hookup and commissioning phase of the project is underway.
Prelude has a liquefied gas storage capacity of 326 Mcm. It has 10 tanks (six for LNG and four dedicated to LPG), each equipped with the membrane containment system Mark III developed by GTT.
