Black & Veatch, China's TCC to target gas, chemical, fertilizer projects throughout Asia
BEIJING — Black & Veatch and China Tianchen Engineering Corporation (TCC) have announced efforts to jointly market and pursue gas, chemical and fertilizer infrastructure projects.
The companies will cooperate in developing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) opportunities throughout Asia including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. On select pursuits, TCC will also explore obtaining financing for the project.
The non-exclusive partnership will explore opportunities in areas including natural gas processing, urea and other chemical processing, sulfur recovery units (SRU), and Syngas and Fischer Tropsch technologies. The partnership is subject to renewal after 24 months.
TCC is a Chinese EPC contractor of record in the chemical, energy and oil & gas industry. It has been operating for more than 60 yr in more than 30 countries, and was China’s first chemical (engineering) design institute.
