Gassco AS gets consent to use the Nyhamna gas terminal
9/8/2017
Petroleum Safety Authority has given Gassco AS consent to use the Nyhamna gas terminal in connection with the company's taking over the operatorship from Shell Norge.
The change of operator comes into effect on 1 October 2017.
A change of operator entails an application for consent to use the facility. This is because consent is an expression of the PSA's confidence that the operating company is able to assume responsibility for operations in a proper manner and in compliance with the regulations.
It is primarily based on our assessment of relevant aspects of the company's management system.
