Chart will provide 20 large, horizontal, forced draft air coolers to be engineered and fabricated at the company’s world-class Tulsa facility and delivered through the summer of 2017. This latest order supplements a previous one from the second half of 2016 that saw Chart provide more than 20 air-cooled heat exchangers for gas processing applications for the same operator and field.
“We are delighted with this latest award and further testament that the midstream oil and gas sector continues to recognize Chart’s ability to provide quality heat exchanger solutions for both gas compression and gas processing applications. Each provides unique challenges and, as a direct result, air cooler suppliers typically focus on one or the other. We are proud that our long heritage and proven expertise enables first class companies to select Chart Cooler Service Company as a single source for all of their air cooled heat exchanger requirements. These important orders and others like them, continue to improve our backlog of projects and enable us to increase our local workforce,” said Adam Stashick, VP & GM at the Tulsa operation.
