Novatek says Yamal, Gydan able to produce over 70 MMtpy of LNG

MOSCOW (Reuters) -- Russia's Gydan and Yamal peninsulas have enough resource base for production of over 70 MMtpy of LNG, Leonid Mikhelson, the head of Novatek gas producer told a conference on Wednesday.
He said that was comparable to LNG production in Qatar, the world's leading producer of the frozen gas.
