Enterprise resumes service at Pascagoula natural gas processing plant
HOUSTON -- Enterprise Products Partners L.P. announced that it has completed the repairs necessary to allow operations to resume at its natural gas processing plant in Pascagoula, Mississippi, which has been out of service since June 27.
In June the plant was closed after a fire occurred at the facility. There were no injuries nor impacts to the surrounding community and the fire was restricted to inside the facility.
The Pascagoula plant receives natural gas from third party pipelines. The plant is comprised of three trains with approximately 1.5 Bcf/d of capacity. The facility was averaging approximately 400 MMcf/d of inlet volumes.
Enterprise assumed 100% ownership of the Pascagoula plant when it purchased the outstanding interest from BP during the first quarter of 2016.
