Petronas and Tokyo Gas sign memorandum of collaboration

Petronas LNG Ltd. (PLL) and Tokyo Gas Co. have signed a memorandum of collaboration (MOC) in a ceremony held at Tokyo Gas’ headquarters in Japan,
The MOC aims to establish a platform to enhance the 33-year business relationship between Petronas and Tokyo Gas which began as Malaysia was embarking on its initial LNG project in Bintulu, Sarawak through MLNG Satu, and sustained throughout the development of MLNG Dua and MLNG Tiga.
The MOC will allow both parties to pursue potential collaboration to further strengthen their global presence in the energy market especially in South East Asia and the Atlantic and Pacific basins.
PLL is a 100% subsidiary of Petronas and is involved in buying and selling of LNG, as well as chartering of LNG vessels, transporting and supplying of LNG.
Tokyo Gas is Japan’s leading city gas company which produces and distributes natural gas to customers in Tokyo and the surrounding area. Tokyo Gas has a vast experience and expertise in gas supplies, gas appliances, gas-related construction work and supply of district heating and cooling systems for cold and hot water and vapour, especially in the region of Kanto.
