CPECC awarded $280-MM contract by Shell

CNPC-affiliated China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corp. (CPECC) and Shell signed an EPC contract for the modernization and expansion of the existing plants of Iraq's Basrah Gas Co., with a total value of around $280 MM. Upon completion, the project will help boost local gas productivity, and bring substantial economic and environmental benefits.
