HIMA burner management systems (BMS), designed to protect three steam generators at INPEX LNG facilities near Darwin, in Australia’s Northern Territory, have been delivered to Amec Foster Wheeler, which designs, delivers and maintains strategic and complex assets for its customers across the global energy and related sectors.
HIMA is providing BMS design, engineering and integration from the office in Houston, Texas, while commissioning and additional services will be delivered by local HIMA professionals in Australia. This collaboration enabled Amec Foster Wheeler to receive the BMS units faster than otherwise would have been possible. Commissioning of the system is expected to take place in 2017.
