SNC-Lavalin wins $800MM contract for Middle East gas processing project

SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a significant oil and gas contract in the Middle East with an approximate value of $800 million.
The project will involve developing the infrastructure and processing facilities for a gas field, with SNC-Lavalin's lump sum turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope on the project, including connecting gas producing wells into the main processing plant.
"We are very pleased to grow our project portfolio with this key client and are excited to be combining resources from Valerus, our gas handling and processing experts, with our strong engineering team to deliver this project," said Christian Brown, president, Oil & Gas, SNC-Lavalin.
The name and specific location of the client were not disclosed.
