In the US, Henry Hub natural gas spot prices remained around $3/MMBtu in July, according to US EIA data, showing strength in their stabilization from volatile price increases and decreases earlier in the year. Hot weather in the US is driving up demand for cooling, which is boosting power burn and consumption of natural gas. Exports to Mexico via pipeline, and to other areas via LNG tanker from Sabine Pass, are also on the rise. Meanwhile, US production of NGL, LPG, ethane/ethylene and propane/propylene slid slightly in April after across-the-board increases in March. GP
