In the US, Henry Hub natural gas spot prices lifted at the end of 2016, briefly climbing above $3.50/MMBtu, but then slid back to around $2.50/MMBtu as of early February. Prices remained near that level as of early March, according to US EIA data. NGL spot process followed a similar trend over their various pricing ranges. Meanwhile, production of NGL, LPG, ethane/ethylene and propane/propylene slipped at year-end. Output flattened in response to milder domestic gas demand, which was partly motivated by warmer-than-anticipated winter temperatures. GP
