Freeport LNG Texas (U.S.) plant reports brief production halt

(Reuters) - Freeport LNG reported a temporary production halt on Saturday, when the U.S. LNG producer's three liquefaction trains were brought offline after a trip at its upstream PTF facility in Texas.
In a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Freeport LNG said plant operators cooled down and restarted Trains 1, 2, and 3 after the resolution of the cause, minimizing flaring.
The event lasted for more than three hours, the filing said.
When operating at full power, the three liquefaction trains at Freeport LNG can turn about 2.1 billion cubic feet a day of gas into LNG.
