GTT wins new order from Hyundai for two LNG carriers for Teekay

GTT, a world leader in the design of membrane containment systems for the maritime transportation and storage of LNG, has announced a new order for two LNG carriers (LNGCs).
These new ships will be built by the Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
The LNGCs, to be owned and operated by Teekay, are expected to be delivered in 2019.
The two LNGCs will be built with the Mark III Flex technology, according to company officials. Financial details were not disclosed.
"We are very pleased to continue our partnership of excellence with Hyunday and Teekay," said Philippe Berterottière, chairman and CEO of Paris-based GTT.
